Blaine Weninger

I started bowling league when I was 4 years old and have loved bowling even since.  I remember the start of the 1983 Jr. League season and my father told me I could get a new bowling ball.  The ball I picked out was a Black Hammer.  The ball looked so cool with the Hammer logo on the side of it and you always saw the best pro bowlers in the world using the same ball on the ABC telecasts Saturday afternoon.  Saturday was the best day of the week because you got to bowl league in the morning then watch the Pro Bowlers Tour on TV that same afternoon.  Those years bring back such great memories and it is great to see the Hammer Brand still going strong in 2014!

Now days I am a PBA member and feel more like an elder statesman when it comes to bowling.  My personal accomplishments include 3 PBA Regional Titles, 4 Texas State Titles, 4 Oregon State Titles, 2 Portland Masters Titles, 2 OBA Titles, 1 Oregon Masters Title, 1 Red River Doubles Title.  I have over 40 300 games and a high series of 879 that I shot last year with a Hammer Arson Low Flair (solid 8 pin away from a 900!)

I am married with 2 boys (18 & 2).  As you can imagine we have a busy household.  Professionally I am a controller / accountant for a large manufacturing company but I also use bowling as a secondary source of income as my wife is a stay at home mom.  I signed on with Hammer in April of 2013 and since that time I have made over $17,000 in prize money.  The equipment is great and the support staff is wonderful.  I am very lucky to be associated with such a great group of people.
