I am a 52 year old retired NYC police Officer. It has been a pleasure working on the Hammer staff since 2001. I began bowling at the ripe old age of 4! My dad used to tend bar in a place called "The Kozy 10 Lanes" in Central Islip, NY where he would place me out on the lanes in front of the bar and I would throw a "star" ball down the lane for hours! That's where the love of the game entered my "Cold Blood."
I never worked full time in the bowling industry due to the riggers of my work in the police department. My favorite thing to do on my days off was to work in the pro shop and absorb as much bowling knowledge as possible. In 1995, I joined the PBA and bowled regionals almost every weekend traveling to locations in the East and South regions. I furthered my knowledge and love of the game, met many quality players, and developed lifelong friendships. I was able to truly familiarize myself with the brand when EBI began presenting demos throughout the region. My overenthusiastic love of the game had me working more demo days than I was actually supposed to! I love being out on the lanes with customers, answering their questions, helping them with their game, and passing on the knowledge I have amassed over the years. I am always excited to introduce bowlers to Hammer products that help improve their games.
I would like to also take this opportunity to thank Jeff Ussery and Joseph Farley for giving me the honor of being a part of this great brand.
Remember, "Nothing Hits Like A Hammer!"
